Do you have any past or current injuries that may be holding you back from playing golf as well as you like?

Muscle and joint limitations can prevent you from performing specific drills your PGA instructor wants you to perform, and most important, can hinder you from playing golf the way you want.

Golf Body Screen
A revolutionary 30-minute system that identifies the physical factors affecting posture, balance, swing speed, power, and ability to achieve optimal club positions.

Golf Profile Evaluation
The total golf fitness package includes an in-depth musculoskeletal evaluation and assessment of the entire body to discover underlying physical limitations (range of motion, strength, flexibility) that can negatively influence your golf swing.

GolfXercise
Based on the golf profile, an individualized golf-specific exercise program will be developed for the golfer to help improve his or her game. The golfer will be instructed in how to perform the exercises properly. You will be given a written program with illustrations of the exercises.

These golf-specific exercises will help engrain the proper movement patterns, motions, and strength necessary to accomplish a proper swing and to achieve movements your instructor may want you to perform that have previously been difficult to accomplish.

Keith Duerler, Golf Fitness Program Specialist
Keith has 10 years' experience as a physical therapist, practicing in sports medicine rehabilitating a variety of injuries. He has expertise in evaluating biomechanics and designing and implementing specific exercise programs to improve performance with athletes of all ages. Keith has worked with numerous golfers of all skill levels and ages.

The Total Golf Fitness package includes three hour-long sessions.

Session 1: Golf swing analysis and whole body musculoskeletal evaluation.

Session 2: Instruction in the customized training session you need to go low.

Session 3: Follow-up re-screening of the golf swing with appropriate modifications for your customized exercise program. This third session is typically scheduled several months after you have been working on your program.

Additional GolfXercise training sessions are offered in hour-long workouts. They may include: cardiovascular exercise, coordination drills, dynamic balance training, impact position drills, power training, reactive training, speed training, strengthening, stretching, and transition drills.

Pricing:
3-session golf fitness package: $250
Golf body screen only: $55
9-hole package: $495 ($55 per session for 9 training sessions over any period of time)
18-hole package: $990 ($55 per session for 18 training sessions over any period of time)

Golf evaluation and fitness training sessions are offered at a Fitness Plus facility or can be arranged for private instruction.

If you are already working with a trainer, Keith can conduct the golf swing and physical assessment and communicate with your trainer to help you achieve your goals.
