I had been working out on my own for a couple years but had become bored and wasn't seeing the results I wanted. After switching to Fitness Plus, I found my motivation and now every workout is challenging but fun. At 50-something, I'm in the best shape of my life and can do more pushups and pullups than a lot of men!

I met Josh Sato in July of 2008, when I first signed up for personal training and I have been training with him since then. I went from being someone who could barely make it up a flight of steps to training for a half marathon and one day a marathon.
Josh knows and understands the true meaning of personal training; from giving me a hard time about eating pizza from Wal-mart to knowing when I have reached my limit to giving me the encouragement I need to finish the last set.
As a physician, I understand the value of health and so does Josh. I would not drive from Northern Kentucky every week if I did not think training with Josh was worth every penny

I have been working out with Josh for about 2 1/2 years. When we started, Josh had me set goals and he designed a workout routine to help me meet those goals. He continually changes my workouts based on the progress I have made. I have gained strength, added muscle, and, at 51, am in better shape than I have ever been. Josh keeps me interested, motivated, and determined to succeed.

I was a little intimidated by the whole "personal trainer" program. I had tried several times to learn how to exercise the correct way on my own and I would see small results but nothing that would keep me motivated to stick with it. I decided to step out and make a move to change my lifestyle to become healthier the right way.
Josh has motivated me and taught me to change small things that add up really quick. I have only been working out with Josh for about 7 weeks and I have noticed changes each week. Josh motivates me in a positive way and keeps me wanting to come back for more! I now have incorporated exercise and healthy nutrition into by daily lifestyle and I feel so much better.
I am a working mom of three and feel that it is very important to take an hour for myself in order to keep myself healthy for my kids. I look at it like an investment in my children's future!

I have been training with Josh Sato since February 2011. When I started, I was a successful 55 year old woman with a major case of exercise burnout. I was out of shape and 40 pounds overweight. I knew I needed to do something to get myself back on track, but self-motivation had not been very (or at all) successful up to that point. After weighing the options, I decided that being accountable to a personal trainer would at least get me moving in the right direction.
From the first day of training, Josh worked to understand my goals and to tailor a workout program to help me build my strength and stamina. He challenges me to do my best and to work harder than I sometimes feel is even possible. With every session, I discover more of what my body is capable of doing. Josh is also considerate and cooperative, understanding of my schedule and the demands of my busy life. I should also mention that Josh has also been training my 20 year old already-buff son this summer, proving (1) that he has a definite rapport with all different sorts of clients, and (2) that you don't have to be out of shape to benefit from working with a trainer to improve what you already have.
Over the past 6 months, I have gotten stronger, healthier, and more fit. I have lost 35 pounds, have built muscle, and look better than I have in years. Finally, the person on the outside matches more closely the person I feel I am on the inside (now if Josh could just figure out a way to stop the aging process…).

Prior to working out with Josh at Fitness Plus I had gained 28lbs in a course of a couple years due to a combination of heavy work commitments, poor diet and little exercise.
I didn't have the time or the motivation to join a gym so I decided to try having regular "appointments" with a personal trainer. I started meeting 3 times a week with Josh in December 2010 and I have to admit that I have seen amazing results. I have since lost 27 lbs, dropped 3 pant sizes and am now in the best shape I have ever been in my life.
It is apparent that Josh enjoys what he does and this comes across in his sessions. I have found him to be very knowledgeable in all aspects of health and fitness. He has gone to great lengths to make me more enthusiastic about my personal fitness. I actually look forward to working out now and enjoy it rather than dreading it. Josh has also helped me understand the importance of eating healthy.
Since working out with Josh my body shape has changed, my fitness levels have improved beyond recognition and I have even completed three half marathons. Josh has set realistic goals for me which I have managed to achieve, advised me on my diet and generally bullied and manipulated me (in the most positive way!) into being a healthier, fitter and much happier person.
